Welcome from Kunsi Keya Tamakoce

At last, with the support of the Kunsi Keya Board of Directors, Kunsi Keya Tamakoce has generated its’ first newsletter. The title, Kunsi Keya Speaks, came in spring 2009 while walking this land. Several
messages, from the land, about life, were offered during those walks. The whisper of the wind through the leaves, the sigh of the creeks, the “whoosh” of the beckoning wingeds, and the play of the animals pattering through the woods are reminders that humans do not exist alone on Mother Earth. Kunsi Keya was also blessed with the presence of a moose one morning and it was the voice of the moose that clearly spoke about the dire importance of Native American ceremonies and sustainability practices that we are building on this land.

The purpose of Kunsi Keya Speaks is to keep you informed of Kunsi Keya’s work as a spiritual community amidst global communities. Another goal of Kunsi Keya Speaks is to keep you, our community, connected to one another and this land. Our goal is to generate Kunsi Keya Speaks on a quarterly basis with regular submissions from Beverly, Pam, Board Members, and community members such as you. With that said, we invite you to contribute a piece of writing or news to Kunsi Keya Speaks as you are moved. Email all submissions to LushanyaEcheverria@hotmail.com before May 1, 2010. All submissions will be considered and used provided space allows.
